To my daily dose of love – My mother!

When I was born;
She nursed me on her chest
She fed me by her breasts
Loved me to the fullest
And made sure I lived the happiest.

When I started growing;
She ensured that my walking was great
Always talking to me in a candid manner
Her caring hand was evident
And little by little my star started rising!

When I joined school;
She made sure I had all I needed
Thanks God, her and dad always provided food
She always washed my uniforms
And reminded me that I am loved.

When tough times hit;
She held it strong with daddy
She remained that brave woman
She never lost hope
And daily continued to encourage us that all will be well.

When daddy passed on to glory;
She gathered my siblings and I into her arms
She then faithfully surrendered us to God
She worked hard to keep us healthy and in school
Even though it was evident that the load was heavy,
God enabled her to keep carrying the cross

When I started growing into an adult;
She kept reminding me to trust in God
She constantly told me that God is my father and He will take care of me
She often found a reason to always get me smiling no matter the dark moments(this she still does till eternity)
She is ‘mother nest’ for real!

Till today, she embodies too much love for people and family
Her generous heart is worth emulating.
She is still as hardworking and resilient as ever
She has continued to nourish us with good food and loves telling us stories
An encounter with her is memorable and so encouraging that she has been blessed with more children. My friends call her mummy

This woman I am writing about is my BELOVED MOTHER.
She is a strong tower in my life, the best mother God blessed me with
She has taught us how to love, work, pray, give, respect and be Authentic.
Her legacy will live on through me and the rest.
I love you then, now and forever Mummy J.
I am forever grateful to God!
