God is still good

In the midst of Grief, God is still good.

Sometimes what we see as grief is basically a Manifestation of the beginning of a new thing in our life.

You may be going through a break up moment with some of your friends and it is a hard time for us. You are grieving literally. But how about you consider the fact that sometimes you do not need to take everyone with you in your next level of assignment in life. And probably that is the reason you’re falling out with some of them. Sometimes, the crushing comes to manifest the glorious juice that you can produce.

When things get shaky, you should know that when everything is said and done, you will be stronger. God is always working even when you are bruising, bleeding or wounded. Sometimes the tough moments are basically there to pave a way for the better version of who you are. The fact that you are still alive, there is still greatness in you. You need to have this hope. You need to weep in hope.

I can attest to the truth that I have seen ‘God’s goodness even while I was grieving’ play out so well in my life with these two examples;
• Little did I know that while I was grieving the loss of my dad who loved me, God was busy birthing a greater calling to love people. Through the grieving moments, God revealed to me what it means to love truthfully.
• While I was in pain for close to 4months in 2019 after losing my smart phone, God was busy working through my friends to extend generosity and show their love towards me by getting me a beautiful smart phone that I love.

Don’t be so grieved that you fail to see the glory of God even in that situation.
Pay attention to the change that is taking place in the inside of you in grieving moments.
Growth is exhausting and it’s for those who recognize that weeping may endure for a night but glory comes in the morning.
God is still good even in grief.

#️⃣Are you grieving? My prayer for you is that you will see the Lord’s goodness even in that season.

  1. There couldn’t have been a better day for me to read this. God’s timing is always best. So in tune with what I heard from Joel Osteen, a preacher I almost have never listened to. Thnx
