Quit entitlement

Thankfulness begins where your sense of entitlement ends.

God wants us to cooperate with Him in doing His Kingdom work. Thankful people are always aware that, “God is up to something and they get to be apart of it.” Psalm 100:4 reminds us to “Be thankful to God”.
God’s will for you is to Rejoice always, Pray continually and Give thanks in all circumstances.

Thankfulness begins where your sense of entitlement ends. You cannot be thankful for things you feel entitled to. Your thankfulness is low when your sense of entitlement is high. The spirit of thanksgiving is the result of remembering all God has done for you regardless of what you expect Him to do… Refuse to stick to your unfulfilled expectations and choose to thank God for what He has already worked on.

Thanksgiving motivates you to look out for God’s purpose in your circumstances, helps bring your will into submission to God’s will and reminds you of your continual dependence on the Lord.
There is always something to be thankful for. Discover it and give thanks.

May we develop a heart of gratitude.
Such a heart lives at peace and conquers many mountains!!

Very true about thankfulness starting where your sense of entitlement ends. Lately, I began to count my blessings after I let go of unfulfilled expectations. And it is more joyous to be in a place of giving thanks than being unhappy about all you think you should have and don’t have.

Thanks Justyn for the timely reminder. Happy new month.

True… As for unfulfilled expectations. Those ones we need to flee from them. Happy new month to you too
