Lesson 11

Sometimes the presence of lack reveals the absence of work.

Work is more like finding a problem to solve and going ahead to provide the solution and in return get compensation. Work is a blessing from God and it glorifies Him. When we work with our hands, we give God something to work with. He himself promised to bless the work of our hands given that he gives us the power to create wealth.

Last weekend I was led to listen to some sermon on Work as a blessing and I learned a lot to do with why I should work.

Some of the reasons shared as to why we should work are as follows;
Not to be in lack.
• To be able to take care of our families.
• To solve other people’s needs.
• To be able to honor our parents properly.
• To honor the Lord God Almighty.
• To demonstrate the power of God to those outside the faith.
•To advance the gospel of God’s kingdom effectively and efficiently.

Truthfully, we can never deny the power behind the economic question and there is no human being responsible for our wellbeing.

Personally, I am searching for furrow ground that I have not tilled in my life, so that I can get working with the guidance of God.
Lack is not my portion. I choose to work diligently currently in all spaces I am volunteering with at the moment as I wait for elevation.

To you my dear friends, my prayer is that God continues to give you gigantic ideas of creating wealth as we all try to answer the economic questions and make this Earth a better place to live in!
