October! October! October!

A month that was a bit tough for me and yet still God showed up for me.
It’s the month I get to remember my late dad (RIP) who passed on on 3rd October 2007. The situation worsened when my close friend lost her dad on Independence day this year (RIP). It was a tough moment for the family and us her friends.
God made it possible for me to travel with them for burial in Agago District.
God still showed Himself strong through journey mercies, provision and protection.

On the other hand I received beautiful gifts in form of cash, clothes and shoes that warmed my heartπŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Besides that, allow me take you through my 31 days of October

I have been;

Making: More time for conversation with God and being available for my friends.

Eating: More of rice and legumes. It has proved to be a constant available meal in all places I have been to.

Drinking: More and more water. I love it cold though. I feel a million dollars each time I drink water. Indeed water is life. I enjoy the frequent washroom visits it comes with tooπŸ˜…πŸ€£πŸ€£

Reading: Lots of blogs and other articles. An amazing friend challenged me to read 30 articles per day each week and I took on the challenge which at which I was successful. I can’t believe I am able to do it and still read my books per week. It seems I was undermining my potential… Thanks to my friend for the stretch. It is a good one and I am loving the connecting with new people through their writing.

Creating: More content for my blog and other social media pages I help manage.

Wasting: No time in cheap talk. I spend my precious time having real talks and conversations that make someone’s life better and leave them knowing they are loved.

Wanting: To go for a vacation or staycation. I just need to go away from the usual environment and reconnect with my God and I and a deeper and uninterrupted level.

Wishing: I owned a car and was able to drive to my People’s homes each time I get the conviction to go check on them physically.

Hoping: That life gets better for my friends and I in all measure. I hope that joy and peace shall be restored where it was lost.

Marvelling: At the healing and protecting hand of God. God has protected my friends, family and I from lots of trouble, illnesses and attacks. He is faithful.

Wondering: How someone says and expresses how dearly he or she loves the other but then says and does something different the following dayπŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”. How possible is it to love today and tomorrow you want nothing to do with the human being?

Bookmarking: Lessons and quotes from my blog readings.πŸ”–πŸ”–πŸ”–

Following: Benjamin WATCH for his insights on different life aspects, Dr. Eunice Adubango for her apostolic leadership and business acumen and Afrobloggers for the learning space they offer for budding writers like myself.

Smelling: Good news, Good health, Stronger friendships, Better work opportunities and more love.

Knowing: That no matter what happens in life, The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me besides the still waters. Cc: Psalm 23

Missing: All my friends. I miss having conversations with you. I miss sharing a meal with you. I miss hugging you guys… Dear Vincent Omare, Ezekiel Muhumuza, Patrick Katagaya, Benjamin Musanjufu, Emmanuel Okot and Daniel Masaba, I MISS USπŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—.

WatchingGreat Leaf Series, People’s actions towards me and vice versa plus my weight. I love entertainment, knowing who people are for real and being ‘healthy small‘ in size.

Noticing: That death is real. Eventually , we all face death. It is still a mystery we have to learn to deal with.

Looking forward: To more sunshine days in November. October had many stormy days, a friend lost her dad and this deeply broke our hearts. I pray November comes with more sunshine and healing for all the broken hearted and those who are crying or going through hopelessness.

This November my life theme is #Obedience. A tough reminder from the Holy Spirit.

To you my dear, enjoy the new month…
May you grow in intimacy with your God. Amen.
Happy New MonthπŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…
I love you.❀️❀️❀️

I have tried with the water drinking in vain like am hoping my body automatically generates water because for the life of me water is very uninteresting.

      Oh dear
Personally, I take water in dosage as though it’s medicine.

It’s well. This friend of mine actually has lost now both parents in 2020. But God is still God.

Yes, welcome to reading 30 articles …
