#2021 #Bearing_Fruit #Because #I_choose_to_abide

April is the lovely month when my mother celebrates her birthday. Anyone who knows me, knows how I love my mother from here, to heaven and back. She is a rare gift that God blessed me with. My mother makes sure I am healthy, have eaten, I have enough blood in my system and above all takes stock of all my friends. She is my other human calendar who reminds me of what I planned to do on a given date and follows up to ensure I did it. She is the right mother I needed, one who is comfortable with me in my jeans and t-shirts and never putting me on pressure to wear skirts (I own one skirt at the moment and it was a gift from my close friend)

April was a beautiful and peaceful month in my personal world. I am not where I want to be, but hey! God has been good to me, I see progress.

Here is how April unfolded;

I was;

Loving: My friends, these guys real keep tabs on me. Always checking on me, inviting me for staycations, calling me for food, making me laugh, sharing new music with me and above all reminding me to keep at and with God.

Making: More time for God and the different work I have to do. I work mainly for the sole reason of becoming who God intended me to be- that is one who helps people and systems perform better.

Eating: A lot of fries (sliced and fried irish potatoes). These are my go to snacks any day any time. Equations get cracked faster while munching on fries and I love them soft.

Drinking: A lot of coffee. The caffeine is much needed and besides, coffee is like bae to me.

Reading:  Very interesting content and the winner was reading Beaton’s blog that is Becoming the muse as an imaginary book. I literally read all his work, piece after piece ever since 2013 and all I can say is that He is a writer called to write and live writing. You need to pass by and read all his work especially the ones of 2019, you shall be glad you did..

Listening: To lots of worship songs. These are part of my time with God and I leave relaxed each time. Jireh by Elevation and Maverick City topping the list.

Watching: Many Nigerian movies. This is one of the few ice breakers I take on before I do big and tough tasks. They literally boost my energies.

Following:  Andy Stanley for his knowledge about finances, Lisa Romans for her personal work, blog, gifts and humor and Dr. Eunice Adubango for her apostolic wisdom and revelation that God delivers through her.

( Image was gotten from her site. )

Creating: More content for my blog, social media platforms as I celebrate my birthday this May and more space for people to be loved by me. The goal is to die empty!

Wishing:  I had my own space to live in. By this I mean my own home. I look forward to this and the many activities I shall host there but also the times I shall have everything to myself. The freedom which comes with such space and privacy is the winner for me.

Wasting: No time on worry. I dumped her last year. I am choosing peace and joy each day thanks to the Holy Spirit.

Hoping: That my friends’ healing manifests faster. My close friends are sick and are in so much pain especially one who had a minor surgery. This hurts me and keeps me at the cross waiting for the testimony. I know God is with them and has healed them.

Wondering: Why people can never mind their business… Chei…

Bookmarking: Quotes, instructions and wisdom from my devotions. I also bookmark those verses from the Bible. I pray I get better at remembering the Chapter and verse numbers of scriptures. At the moment the best I do is tell you the book and the verse itself.

Thankful:  For the gift of life and physical wholeness. God protects me on a daily from any harm. I thank Him for journey mercies too, with the many ‘boda-boda’ trips I take each day, I can say it is only God who has seen me through.

Making a Toast: New friends and new growth spaces. I also toast to new beginnings and being challenged.

Marveling:  At the peace I am experiencing. A kind that has surpassed my understanding and leaves me in awe each day that passes… If this is what God promised, I want to leave here forever. Chei… PS: Peace does not mean absence of a storm, even in the storm, I am at peace. Thanks be to God.

Noticing: Once again that I am loved and it is possible to surprise me. People have struggled to surprise me but well, a few succeed. My friend Mandela, recently surprised me with a NEW JOURNAL. God, my siblings and friends know how I have been believing for one and asked them to get me one. He chose to surprise me with one when I went over to Mbarara to spend time with him. Up until now, I still smile with gratitude and tears when I see it. It is my baby… It has been added to those timeless gifts like the Curren Watch I wear and my Manchester United 2019 jersey among others.

Knowing: I am loved by God and He speaks to me on a daily as His child. All I need to do is listen, respond with faith and obey. I am surrounded by His love.

Smelling: Good news coming my way and mighty signs and wonders.

Asking God: For more wisdom, knowledge, favor and discernment.

Looking forward to:  Celebrating my birthday in a unique way with a new revelation and direction. Seasons are changing! Life is one of my greatest gifts from God. The more reason I am personal with my birthdays. You can forget anything as my close friend but not my birthday.

May is here and as you continue to do life, it is my prayer that you awaken to the fact that you are loved. At least by me.🥰🥰🥰 Go out and let your star shine, you are called to greatness. Quit rushing and be patient. You my friend shall win.

Happy new month.
I love you.
