#Week3 #Business #Technology #Pros
Today is day 5 of week 3 and I choose to share with you ‘how technology has made my life better’ as illustrated below?
Because of Technology, I am able to work on different assignments and earn rewards.
All thanks to remote working
Which is aided by the use of devices like;
The phone for attending meetings and making voice calls
The laptop for typing and designing and reading
The headphones for listening in
Various Applications to help navigate different work input and output methods
In addition, there is also;
Internet to help connect to the different supervisors and teams and nations.
The Inventions of computers and robots also reduces on time taken to deliver on a tasks thus making the work environment a better place.
Because of Technology, I am able to Still serve God in full capacity
Yes, I am able to Worship like I used to!
In some countries like Uganda, the current pandemic came with locking up of physical church premises which meant that some people like me who serve with Church organisations had to think of new ways to run operations.
Thanks to technology, we are able to broadcast service and other ministry programs online
For example through YouTube or Facebook or twitter or via the website.
All the above is achieved through the use of the internet
Availability of gadgets like phones, televisions and computers…
I am also able to continue with daily Bible devotions , thanks to the YouVersion Bible app that has so many plans. I can access this through simple things like my phone.
Fellowships too are now happening online and community is growing. God is building His church even through technology.
All thanks to Zoom, Microsoft Teams , Google meet and Twitter spaces that allow such meets to happen efficiently at affordable costs
These are all great technology developments that have helped advance the Kingdom of God here on earth.
Because of Technology, I am able to build relationships even beyond my country’s boundaries.
Yes, most of my new friends do not stay close to me physically.
I am able to talk to my friends in Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, The U.S.A, Malawi, Ghana, Jamaica while here in Uganda all thanks to the Internet.
I am able to talk to Pollet and catch up with Mable (all these are great creatives ) through WhatsApp, a social media application
Mobile phones also make it easy for me to read my friends’ work through browsers I only need to install. I shall read Beaton’s blog, Watch Rudo’s YouTube video, Attend Lynette’s Instagram live session, React to Bruce’s tweet or even listen to Josephina’s podcast all through using my phone. Keeping in touch with my friends through voice or video calls and texts has been made easy.
I am also able to freely exchange cash gifts with my friends globally within the comfort of my home. Thanks to World remit
The above relationships are great additions to my life that are helping me become a better version of myself beyond just sharing love. A day can’t go without me checking on my friends.
Generally, the everyday evolving technology has so much good it comes with even when there are some cons attached to it.
I am a firm believer in choosing to use new technology inventions for the betterment of life.
