Hello !! Hello !!
2021 #Bearing_Fruit #Because #I_choose_to_abide #Afrobloggers #Joy
I come back here with our monthly stock taking after the long month of #WinterABC Challenge and since I did not share for May, this will be power packed as it contains my experiences for both May and June. Get your glass of water or cup of tea and we roll;

May is my birth month and June is my Evaluation month. I was born on 15th May and that whole month is usually dedicated to my birthday basically thanking God for my life. God loved on me overwhelmingly in May and still allowed me to rest in June regardless of the storm (Uganda was sent into a lock down in June due to the pandemic). All in all, God kept me happy and healthy and I am forever grateful for this is going to be my best year.
Here is how both months unfolded;
I was;
Loving: My friends still! I greatly thank God for each of my friends. I happily testify that ever since my social shut down in 2009, God has been adding to my world purpose friends. I have not had friendship break ups in a long while and I thank God for this. On any random day, I will always be having something a friend blessed me with or doing an assignment a friend recommended me for or meeting a resourceful person a friend connected me to. I love my friends because they give me reason to wake up and love more. I love because I am loved first by God, then family and friends.
Making: More time for God and His people. I have grown to believe and walk in the fact that God called me to His people. I therefore purpose to spend more time with God because it is then that I get revelation on how to serve His people better. I have created a docket in my weekly schedule specifically to help people. My moments with God also leave me energetic and joyful.
Eating: A lot of ‘matooke’ (bananas) as it is the season for its plentiful harvest. I even ate bananas on my birthday, it is my second option after Irish potatoes. I also enjoyed eating Sumz crisps (specifically potatoes) on all my journeys. They are just crunchy and delicious. At the moment, they are the only foods that my body takes in on journeys. I only drink while travelling but these crisps managed to conquer my food allergies.
Drinking: A lot of water and millet porridge. Thanks to the pandemic, I have also learned to take the different forms of tea like Racheal shared in her piece
Reading: Great books and the #WinterABC2021 Blogs written by all participants and I am still reading. I am grateful to God for the ability to read books and blogs and the ability to comprehend.

Listening: To lots of joyful songs with Congratulations by Ada Ehi ft Buchi, Omemma by Judikay and Joy by The Planetshakers topping the list. These three songs speak a lot into my new season and who God is to me and what He is doing. Anytime worry starts to snoop around, I just play Congratulations and before you know it, my joy is back.
Following: Tim Mjete, A great Clinical Researcher who is sold out to “creating a home of Godly enthused, moment-driven articles, and videos that will transform and make an impact in the lives of those who read and listen to his voice” _as highlighted by him. The articles he shares on his website – This Walk of Life are so real (at least for me) and have serious calls to action. I always look forward to his articles every Sunday because they come with lots of inspiration and encouragement for me as I start the new week.
Watching: Virgin River Season 2 and being a person who devotes less time to watching films, it took me a whole month to finish the season that is full of love moments. I just enjoy seeing people profess their love for each other. On other days, I would watch dark skies. There is a rare therapy I get from watching a dark sky with the stars and the moon.
Creating: Content for the #WinterABC2021 Blogging challenge hosted by Afrobloggers. You can read all my pieces for the challenge here. The challenge kept me writing for the whole month of June!
Wishing: I was an essential worker with a car that has a sticker so that I could be able to help some of my friends who needed physical help when they were sick.
Wasting: No time on worry, fear and misery. I am choosing peace and joy. Right from the beginning of the year, I asked God for peace and He has not disappointed. I am choosing to hold my peace and let God fight my battles.

Hoping: That we register more and tremendous healings from Covid all over the world. Hoping for total healing for people in hospitals here in Uganda. Dear God, heal our land, AMEN.
Wondering: Why people choose to lead rebellious lives? Like; how can someone continue to harm other people with his/her actions? 🤔🤔🤔
Bookmarking: All the lessons and quotes from the various blogs, books and my devotions.
Thankful: To God for LIFE in its fullness. My life and those of my friends. The pandemic got my friends infected with the ‘rona’ but most of them are healed now except for a few who are still on the recovery journey. A few sicknesses tried to attack me at the beginning of June but God delivered me from all of them.
Making a Toast To: A full month of birthday celebrations🥳🥳🥳. I dared and asked God to let me celebrate my birthday for a full month and He delivered over and above what I could ever imagine. My friend surprised me with a fully paid trip to the Ssese Island on Lake Victoria, I received two gifts in form of photoshoots (a dream I always had), many lunch dates, breakfast offers from my friend and church and many other gifts. My friend who runs Jakin Confectionery also surprised me with a birthday cake. Surely, this is going to be my best year.

Marveling: At how God answers prayers. He indeed knows my needs even before I ask. I marvel at how I can talk to God about something and boom, He delivers. God keeps doing many things that leave me in awe like when one of my close friends got a better employment opportunity in May. To me, this was one of the greatest birthday gifts I received from God.
Noticing: That I am not alone. God is with me. He has been with me all my life and He will be with me till forever.
Knowing: That God will fight my battles. All I need to do is to hold my peace.
Smelling: An outburst of healings in Uganda and the world at large from all illnesses.
Asking God: For more and more peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. I need this for such a season.
Looking forward to: My friends’ birthdays that are yet to be celebrated this year. I love celebrations and birthdays are one of them.
July
Is here and it is my JOY month. The Lord has made me glad and is filling my world with lots of joy.
And to you my friend, as we start July, I pray that you experience peace and joy. I speak total healing to you if you are not well and declare that you shall live to taste the goodness of God in the land of the living. Amen.

NB: Thanks for reading my work and this month, I will host my friend Martin who will share with us a few stories. You do not want to miss…🤗🤗🤗
Until then, May you find strength in knowing that God is fighting for you dear child, and always remember that;
I love you!
