Hello Lovely people,
I hope you’re much better. Today I continue to share with you my morning reflections from one of my growth spaces. These are the notes I took from some of the sessions. I will share about self-esteem and reading.

Self-esteem:
This refers to confidence in one’s worth or abilities; self-respect as defined by the Oxford dictionary. It has so much to do with how we perceive our worth.
How to better your self esteem;
- Positive self talk. Be positive in speech. Tell yourself the best news, affirmations, nuggets, encouragement or advices.
- Prioritize spending time with those you enjoy, love and feel safe with.
- Break goals into the smallest possible actions. This helps one build grit and motivated.
- Self care. Yes, you need to take good care of yourself.
- Explore your feelings instead of numbing them. Live through your emotions.
Things to stop doing if you want to be happy!
- Dwelling in the past. This kills your energy and prevents you from looking at the beautiful things ahead.
- Being complacent.
- Spending too much time on social media. Try to give social media a break.
- Overlooking small joys. I like to tell people to celebrate each win be it small or big.
- Not exercising yet that’s the only body you have
- Running crazy over small issues that can sometimes be solved with a greeting, text or call.
- Holding grudges. This is totally unhealthy.
- Giving time excuses. Stop complaining about time.
Happiness is your choice!
