For me, this is among my 2022 miracles

In July, I got a terrible toothache that finally sent me crying to the dentist.
Upon meeting my new #dentist OREGON DENTAL CARE in Kampala, I was diagnosed with many teeth problems ( which I was aware of but had not worked on because of limited resources). These teeth issues had been a pain I had lived with since 2019 and only hoped for a miracle because Dental services are pretty expensive in my country.

The dentist( a female) asked why I had let my teeth start to die and I told her the reason. She was so calm and encouraging. She then told me that I could have a healthy smile and there and then she shared a treatment & healing plan which sounded too big for me but yo, I chose to believe that I can walk that journey especially with such a dentist who I call my miracle.

I was faithful with all appointments and somehow God kept providing the money from unexpected sources. He never used my usual helpers.
I had
• 1 Root canal procedure
• 2 Extractions
• 4 Restorations ( clinical term for teeth filling)
done.

And yesterday 16.11.2022 saw I complete the whole treatment and healing process. During the process, I received many numbing injections, swallowed many antibiotics, and even started using mouth washes in a bid to have a healthier smile. Being someone who dreads needles, those injections left me crying most of the times but I endured them because the goal was to deal with the pain of having bad teeth.

I’m glad that I took action, stayed the course and I’m ending the year with a healthy smile. I can now smile openly with joy in my heart. 🤩

My dentist thanked me for being vigilant and committed to this journey of restoring my smile.

Just to note, we even became friends. She is a sweet soul full of courage, kind words, hope, and love!

Special shout-outs to Kuc - My Love for buying me ice cream after both of my extractions. The ice cream helped soothe my gums and killed the pain.
